LocalBoost is a server-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that improves locally hosted worlds with conservative view-distance and simulation-distance settings. It automatically activates on integrated servers, supports dedicated local servers, and reports slow server ticks to help identify performance problems. LocalBoost is lightweight, configurable, and designed to work alongside modpacks without changing gameplay content.
