Lob's Metalworks

Lob's Metalworks is a mod that adds new smithing mechanics to Minecraft.

Features:

-Coal Forge:

Insert fuel and ingredients into the Forge and light it with a flint and steel, to start the heating process.

Heated ingots may be extracted from the Forge by using tongs.

-Anvils:

Use a template on an Anvil to set the recipe. Add heated ingots and start hammering, to create tool heads,

armor, plates, gears and rods.

-Remove/Add recipes for existing Armor/Tools or create your own:

The config files contain several examples for custom item creation and

registration of existing items for coal forge and anvil recipes.

Currently does not support custom textures/models, only coloring.

- Socketable Gems:

This mod adds Sockets, that can be applied to any armor, tools and weapons (Even modded ones)

and 5 different Gems, rare drops from monsters, that can be inserted into sockets for unique effects.
