LizYami's Large Tools

 

This mod adds tools that can mine in a 3x3 area, as well as simple paxels & a large variant of it as well.

 

 

New Items

 

Paxel - Multitool that can mine any type of block. This mod's paxels, however, include hoe functionality by sneaking while right-clicking.

 

Hammer - A larger version of the pickaxe

 

Backhoe -  A larger version of the shovel. Can path in a 3x3 area

 

Saw - A larger version of the axe. Can strip in a 3x3 area

 

Tiller - A larger version of the paxel. Can till in a 3x3 area

 

Backhaw - A larger version of the paxel. Can path, till, and strip in a 3x3 area

 

 

Packed Wood - A bark-like compressed plank block. Used to make large wooden tools. Can be used to compress and store planks as well.

 

Packed Cobblestone - A compressed cobblestone block. Used to make large stone tools. Can be used to compress and store cobblestone as well.

 

Crafting

Large tools are crafted using blocks of materials instead of the materials themselves. 

Netherite tools are made using a netherite block instead of a netherite ingot

 

Packed Blocks are crafted in a 3x3 using planks/cobblestone, just like other storage blocks.

 

 

Enchantment

 

New Enchantment, Expand. Makes large tools mine in a 5x5 area instead of a 3x3 area. However, it is a treasure enchant, and it is only available via villager trading.

 

 

Other versions are planned as well.

 

FAQ

 

Will there be a Fabric port?

 

Maybe? I would need to learn fabric first, which at the moment is not a priority. However, considering how little code is actually in this mod, if someone decides to port it before I get around to it, they may as long as they

 

A: Show me a working fabric version and ask me for permission to upload it

 

B: Credit Me in the page description and in the mod’s in-game description

 

C: Link back to this page on their mod page. 

D: Give me $20 (This is obviously a joke)

Great! Report it to my issue tracker at the top of the page! If you cannot find it, that’s okay (I sometimes miss things that are right in front of me too, I know the feeling), here is a link to it!

Just please don’t be a jerk by stealing the whole mod and putting it into your own or rereleasing it. I will have you shot. :)

1.X.X port plz

As I stared right above this FAQ’s header, I will make updates for other versions when I get around to it. Asking for it doesn’t make it come faster, and I will just ignore requests for versions.

 

 

 

Where can I donate to you?

I don’t know why you would want to, I don’t think this mod is substantial enough to warrant donations. Once I make my bigger mod I have in the works I might consider it. This mod is tiny, so you enjoying it is enough compensation for me. ^v^

 

Why are you posting an FAQ for a mod you only just uploaded?

Because I’m lazy and I know I’ll forget to/put off adding it later. ;-;
