Living Book is a small, atmospheric mini‑mod for Minecraft that adds one unusual hostile mob — the Living Book. The Living Book is a strange creature that looks like a book with an eye. Instead of walking, it moves by jumping. When it spots a player, it moves towards them and attacks. It has relatively little health, but it can deal significant damage, so don’t underestimate it. The Living Book spawns in the world alongside other hostile mobs, but it appears somewhat less frequently than regular monsters. In the event of defeat, it may drop 1–2 sheets of paper, a pickled spider’s eye, or an enchanted book. A nice detail: if you throw a feather within two blocks, the book will react and sneeze. In creative mode, you can use the Living Book’s respawn egg to summon it and interact with it wherever you like.
