TikTokLive Library

Required dependency for LiveVillage. You don't need to do anything with this project — the CurseForge app installs and updates it automatically whenever it's needed.

What this is

This is a repackaged build of TikTokLiveJava by jwdeveloper, distributed as a GAMELIBRARY-type mod so it can be shipped and updated through CurseForge like any other dependency.

TikTokLiveJava is the unofficial Java client that LiveVillage uses to connect to a TikTok LIVE session and receive gift events. It is not related to LiveVillage's own game logic — it's pure networking/parsing code, kept in its own jar so it can be versioned and updated on its own schedule.

Why it's a separate project instead of bundled into the mod

CurseForge's automatic dependency resolution installs and updates it without you doing anything, the same way it handles any required library.
If the TikTok-side protocol changes, this jar can be updated independently, without forcing a new release of the whole mod.

License and credit

TikTokLiveJava is licensed under MIT by jwdeveloper. This build only repackages the compiled classes and their dependencies into a single jar; no logic was modified. The original license file is included inside the jar under META-INF/.

Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. It connects to TikTok LIVE's public livestream data using an unofficial, reverse-engineered client — not an official API — so it can occasionally break temporarily when the platform changes something on its end.

Installation

If you're installing LiveVillage through the CurseForge app or launcher, you don't need to download this separately — it's pulled in automatically as a dependency. If you're setting up a server by hand, drop this jar in your mods/ folder alongside LiveVillage.
