This project improves compatibility between Recruits, DragN's Livestock Overhaul, and (optionally) the Workers mod, letting recruit cavalry use Livestock Overhaul mounts instead of vanilla horses and letting workers tend Livestock Overhaul animals.
Horsemen and Nomads now spawn and ride fully featured Livestock Overhaul mounts, including proper saddles, inventories, and randomized breeds, coats, markings, and attributes. Instead of only plain horses, cavalry can appear on a variety of mounts (horses, donkeys, mules, camels, and unicorns), and both the standard and desert (camel) spawn cases are covered. This makes mounted recruits visually consistent with Livestock Overhaul's expanded animal system and adds far more variety to cavalry units in the world.
Beyond auto-spawned cavalry, you can manually assign recruits to any Livestock Overhaul mount, as well as its wagons and carts (covered wagon, livestock wagon, lumber wagon, goods cart, dog sled, and more), through Recruits' normal mounting controls. Recruits also reliably re-locate and re-mount their assigned Livestock mount after dismounting or reloading.
Movement behavior has been adjusted to prevent exaggerated speeds when recruits are mounted, resulting in more natural and believable cavalry movement while remaining fully compatible with existing recruit behavior.
When the Workers mod is installed, its Animal Farmer now recognizes, tends, and breeds Livestock Overhaul animals (cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, goats, camels, and rabbits) just like vanilla ones, Livestock's gender-based breeding rules are preserved for your own manual breeding.
This is a lightweight compatibility mod and does not add new entities of its own. Recruits and DragN's Livestock Overhaul are required; the Workers mod is optional and its features activate automatically only when it is present.
