Little Discoveries 1.0.1 – NeoForge 26.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.0.1
Fixes
- Rediscover the current biome after resetting a journal, without leaving the biome.
- Check structures using already available chunks; skip unloaded structure origins instead of loading them during detection.
- Protect target and collection indexes from accidental changes by API callers.
- Resolve duplicate collection and stamp IDs consistently, keeping the first definition by order and ID.
- Count stamps against active definitions while preserving progress from temporarily removed data packs.
- Reevaluate collection completion events when definitions reload, including collections completed by existing progress.
- Discover newly added data packs with
/littlediscoveries reload, following vanilla pack discovery and NeoForge ordering. - Reject invalid discovery and stamp condition IDs and nonpositive stamp counts in network packets with explicit decoder errors.
- Snapshot mutable discovery coordinates and preserve progress when replacing a journal using its own read-only views.
- Keep discoveries visible when their collection belongs to another category.
- Clip overview click targets to the visible page and restrict mouse-wheel navigation to the book content.
Quality of life
- Remember the journal tab, selection and page between openings during a connection.
- Select the first entry on a newly turned page, keeping keyboard navigation and live progress updates on that page.
- Show Items and Curiosities tabs when data packs or other mods add those discovery types.
- Include item and custom discovery counts in the progress command.
- Add an original project icon to the mod metadata.
- Reduce development log noise.
Verification
- 92 JUnit tests pass, including shipped content validation and definition/progress packet round trips.
- Seven mod game tests pass on a dedicated game-test server, alongside one vanilla test.
- Integration coverage includes biome reset, creature field of view and walls, structure pieces and unloaded origins, duplicate awards, stamp awards, separate players, coordinate preferences, collection events on reevaluation, and real biome/structure registry targets.
