Literally Just Palettes

Recent versions of Minecraft have added several new stone variants, and yet most of them have been extremely limited in their potential uses, with some of them appearing in literally zero crafting recipes.

Literally Just Palettes seeks to change this. True to its name, the mod adds many new craftable building blocks (currently 126) and literally nothing else. Some of these serve to flesh out existing palettes, while others serve to create palettes for blocks that currently cannot be used in crafting. The goal here is for every block added in the mod to be something that would feel natural in the vanilla game—and in fact, you may be surprised to hear that some of these aren't already in the vanilla game.

Andesite, Diorite, Granite, and Tuff:

• Tuff is brought in line with andesite, diorite, and granite, with the addition of Polished Tuff—plus slabs, stairs, and walls for both regular and polished tuff. (Walls are also added for polished andesite, polished diorite, and polished granite.)
• Chiseled blocks are added for all four variants—as are Bricks, which in turn can be crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls.
• Polished walls are added because it's weird how that's not already a thing.

Sandstone, Red Sandstone, and Calcite:

• Calcite is brought in line with sandstone and red sandstone, with the addition of Cut Calcite, Chiseled Calcite, and Smooth Calcite—plus slabs, stairs, and walls for both calcite and smooth calcite, as well as cut calcite slabs.
• Pillars are added for all three variants—as are Polished blocks, which in turn can be crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls.
• Smooth walls are added because it's weird how that's not already a thing.

Dripstone:

• Smooth Dripstone, Polished Dripstone, Polished Dripstone Bricks, and Mossy Polished Dripstone Bricks are added, all of which can be crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls. The palette loosely resembles that of blackstone.
• Chiseled Dripstone, Dripstone Pillars, and Cracked Polished Dripstone Bricks are also added.

Basalt:

• Slabs, stairs, and walls are added for Smooth Basalt.
• Basalt Bricks are added, with a directional brick pattern. These can be crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls.

Obsidian and Amethyst:

• Slabs and stairs are added for both.

Wood Tiles:

• Logs and stripped logs of each type can be crafted into satisfying 2x2 tile blocks, which in turn can be crafted into stairs, slabs, and walls. Yes, this means finally having an option for wooden walls.
