This is a lightweight mod that simply spawns a zombie when you die while infected.
//How does it work?
-When a player is attacked by a zombie, it adds an effect to the player called "Zombie Infection" for 7 seconds.
-If the player die while infected( no matter how-it can be fall damage, killed, lava etc) , It will spawn a zombie with the player's name, armor and items held.
-Don't worry, this won't duplicate the player's inventory. The player's items will drop as usual, and if you kill the zombie, it won't drop any items of its armor slot/main-hand/off-hand, which means no farming yourself for free gear.
-I also added Potion of Zombification(rotten flesh+potion of awkward), in case you want to turn yourself into a zombie...
