This document constitutes a binding legal agreement. By downloading, installing, distributing, running, or otherwise interacting with this software (hereinafter "the Mod"), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you are strictly prohibited from utilizing, copying, or distributing this Mod or any of its constituent parts.

SECTION 1: PROPRIETARY CUSTOM CONTENT & MANDATORY ATTRIBUTION

All original content, including but not limited to custom source code, assets, textures, models, audio, configurations, and unique design mechanics created by Misanthropy (ShutTheirPrayer) (collectively referred to as "Proprietary Content"), is protected under international copyright laws.

1.1 Mandatory Attribution Clause

In the event that any portion of the Proprietary Content is used, referenced, adapted, or integrated into another project (where permitted under the terms of this license or by explicit written consent), conspicuous, prominent, and non-negotiable credit must be given to the original author.

- Placement of Credit: Credit must be clearly visible to the end-user. This includes, but is not limited to:

- The main description page of any platform hosting the derivative project (e.g., CurseForge, Modrinth, GitHub).

- Any README or LICENSE files bundled with the derivative project.

- In-game credits or user interface elements where other credits are displayed.

- Format of Credit: The credit must read exactly as follows:

"Portions of this project utilize mechanics/assets/code from the Linggango Tweaks, created by Misanthropy (ShutTheirPrayer)."

SECTION 2: THIRD-PARTY LICENSING & COMPATIBILITY

This Mod contains derivative works, integrations, or dependencies governed by open-source licenses. These portions are subject to their respective terms:

2.1 GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) v3.0

Official Content: Portions of the codebase designated as "Official Content" are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, Version 3.0 (LGPL v3.0).

You may copy, distribute, and/or modify these specific LGPL-governed portions under the terms of the LGPL v3.0. A copy of the LGPL v3.0 must accompany any distribution of these portions.

2.2 Mozilla Public License (MPL) v2.0

Added Content 1 (Sword Blocking Mechanics): Specific elements of this Mod related to "Sword Blocking Mechanics" (originally designed/inspired by Fuzs) are licensed under the Mozilla Public License (MPL).

Any modification or distribution of these specific MPL-covered files must comply strictly with the terms of the MPL. Source code for these components must be made available under the terms of the MPL.

Note: The presence of open-source licenses (LGPL/MPL) for specific sub-components does NOT grant users unrestricted rights to the Proprietary Content, assets, or overall brand identity of the Mod owned exclusively by Misanthropy.

SECTION 3: RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITED USE

Unless granted express written permission by Misanthropy (ShutTheirPrayer), the following actions are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Commercialization and Monetization

You may not sell this Mod, its assets, or any derivative works for monetary gain.

You may not gate any features of this Mod behind paywalls, premium memberships, or platforms like Patreon (excepting standard passive ad revenue on authorized distribution platforms).

3.2 Unauthorized Re-Hosting (Anti-Piracy/Anti-Scraping)

This Mod may only be downloaded from official distribution channels controlled by Misanthropy. Such as CurseForge.

Automatic scraping, mirroring, or uploading of this Mod to third-party distribution sites (e.g., 9minecraft, MC-Mod, or any unauthorized mod reposting network) is explicitly forbidden unless asked me. Violators will be subject to DMCA takedown requests and further legal remedies.

SECTION 4: DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

4.1 NO WARRANTY

THE MOD IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MOD OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE MOD.

4.2 TERMINATION OF RIGHTS

Any failure to comply with the terms of this License will result in the immediate and automatic termination of your rights to use or distribute this Mod. Misanthropy reserves the right to enforce these terms to the maximum extent permitted by local and international law.
