LING Horizons
LING Horizons is a next-generation, high-performance GPU-driven Voxel Level-of-Detail (LOD) rendering engine designed specifically for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge.
Experience breathtaking, ultra-long render distances (up to 512+ chunks) with near-zero CPU overhead, fully-featured 3D cavern and overhang rendering, spherical planetary curvature, and seamless out-of-the-box compatibility with modern shaderpacks like Photon, Complementary, Bliss, and Solas.

GPU-Driven MDIC Pipeline (OpenGL 4.6)
Unlike traditional CPU-bound LOD mods that struggle with meshing bottlenecks when flying quickly, LING Horizons delegates culling, command generation, and meshlet synthesis directly to the GPU using Multi-Draw Indirect with Compute Shaders (MDIC). Millions of distant blocks are culled and rendered in just 1–2 draw calls per frame!
Java 21 SIMD Vector Acceleration
Engineered from the ground up for modern hardware, utilizing the Java 21 Vector API (jdk.incubator.vector) to accelerate bitwise voxel packing, face culling, and biome palette computations with hardware-level AVX2 / AVX-512 vector registers.
Realistic Planetary Spherical Curvature
Simulate true planetary horizon curvature directly in the vertex shader! Watch distant mountain ranges and ocean horizons gently curve away around the Earth for cinematic, AAA-grade visuals.

Full 3D Voxel World (No Flat Heightmaps!)
LING Horizons uses a Sparse Voxel Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) architecture. It accurately renders complex 3D overhangs, floating islands, volcano craters, and deep cavern openings without flattening them into 2.5D heightmaps.
Multi-Engine High-Speed Storage
High-throughput persistence powered by embedded RocksDB 10.2, LMDB, or SQLite, with off-heap memory arena buffers to keep the JVM Garbage Collector completely free from stutter.
In-Game Management & Commands
