Limited Water – Finite Water Sources in Minecraft
Limited Water is a lightweight mod that changes the default Minecraft experience by disabling infinite water sources. By default, it sets the gamerule waterSourceConversion to false, which means that placing two water source blocks side by side will no longer create an infinite supply.

Originally made for my own modpacks, but free for anyone to include in theirs.
