Description
Liminal Space Project
You’ve been here before… haven’t you?
Explore 31 strange dimensions inspired by nostalgic places, forgotten memories, and the unsettling emptiness of liminal spaces.
Wander through pink pool halls, deserted neighborhoods, empty playgrounds, quiet hotels, rolling green hills, and endless-looking corridors. Massive, repeating environments stretch far beyond your arrival point, filled with custom blocks, furnished houses, and decorative furniture.
Shaders are recommended for the best atmosphere, but they’re completely optional. No shaders are bundled or required.
Find your way in
Sometimes, an ordinary moment takes you somewhere extraordinary:
-
Doors: Manually opening a wooden door has a 30% chance of revealing another dimension. Step through to enter.
-
Sleep: Waking from a bed outside the liminal dimensions has a 40% chance of sending you into a dream.
-
Floor falls: Solid ground can suddenly give way, averaging around 15 minutes of eligible Survival play between encounters.
These encounters are random—not guaranteed timers—and their rates are configurable.
Can you get home?
Dying inside a liminal dimension returns you to your normal spawn while preserving your inventory and XP. Beds found in furnished homes and hotel rooms offer another escape.
A familiar kind of emptiness
A soft, looping soundtrack accompanies your exploration. It has its own volume and enable settings and continues playing even when Minecraft’s Music slider is set to zero. Master mute still works.
There’s no rush. Explore the rooms. Follow the corridors.
Maybe the next place will feel like home.
