It holds back now. The first three nights are a scripted descent - a creak upstairs, a door that was closed, a sign that says SOON, the first silence, the first whisper. No manifestation, no voice, no evidence before the world has earned it. The dread is built, not spammed.

The microphone is a choice. At spawn, before anything else: "It can listen through your microphone. It only... hears." Play heard, or stay unheard - the whole experience adapts. No mic? It still watches. It just can't answer you.

It speaks like something that learned to. Early on it stays silent - your words get an echo at best. The first time it answers is a moment, not a mechanic. The deeper you go, the more it replies - and when IT starts the conversation, it stays: for half a minute, everything you say gets an answer.

Voice bank almost tripled - 54 to 152 lines across every moment: greetings, returns, fire, digging, running, sleeping, the grab, the 3 AM wake.

It understands accents now - English recognition upgraded to a far larger offline model (shipped by the modpack). Speak with your accent; it hears you anyway.

Fixes - stamina bar no longer overlaps the air bubbles underwater; night-wake and evidence properly gated behind the opening hours.
