Letter Hunt: Race Against Time

A random letter. A ticking clock. One chance.

Every round, two panels light up on your screen - LETTER and TIMER. Find any item whose name starts with that letter and get it into your inventory before the clock hits zero. Make it in time and you live. Run out of time… and you die.

Simple to learn, chaotic to master - and even better with friends.

How It Works

1. A random letter and a random time (from a few seconds up to 5 minutes) are rolled.
2. Search, mine, craft or loot anything whose name starts with that letter.
3. Pick it up before the timer ends - and survive to the next round.

Item names are checked in your game language, so it works in English, Russian and other languages.

Features

Multiplayer (LAN)

• Everyone gets the same letter and the same timer
• Rounds start only when enough players are online (choose 1-20 in the menu)
• See your teammates through walls with a friend marker
• Respawn next to your teammate

Game Settings Panel (press G)

• No hunger mode, easy mode, keep inventory
• Optional challenge modifiers for extra difficulty
• Play-through mode: try to beat the whole game this way

Hints (press H to toggle)

• Shows examples of items you can find for the current letter

Rewards

• Golden apples, short creative mode bursts and more
• Special enchantments: Double Dig (2x mining speed) and Area Mine (3x3 mining)
• Friend Totem - saves you and your teammate from death, with a unique animation
• Ultra rare Totem of Will

Twists

• /lh skip vote - skip a hard letter, but pay the price
• After several failed rounds you face a choice: risky trials or a fresh start

Installation

1. Install Minecraft Forge 1.20.1
2. Drop the mod into your mods folder (every player needs it)
3. Create a world - the first round starts automatically
4. Type /lh in chat for commands
