Let It Snow!
Let it snow is a simple forge mod to change the world generation so that it snows in nearly all overworld biomes.
A few biomes are excluded to not hinder gameplay too much, those are:
- minecraft:desert
- minecraft:badlands
- minecraft:eroded_badlands
- minecraft:cold_ocean
- minecraft:deep_cold_ocean
- minecraft:deep_frozen_ocean
- minecraft:deep_lukewarm_ocean
- minecraft:deep_ocean
- minecraft:frozen_ocean
- minecraft:lukewarm_ocean
- minecraft:ocean
- minecraft:warm_ocean
- minecraft:basalt_deltas
- minecraft:nether_wastes
- minecraft:crimson_forest
- minecraft:soul_sand_valley
- minecraft:warped_forest
- minecraft:end_barrens
- minecraft:end_highlands
- minecraft:end_midlands
- minecraft:small_end_islands
- minecraft:the_end
- minecraft:the_void
- minecraft:deep_dark
- minecraft:dripstone_caves
- minecraft:lush_caves
The snow operates on the normal weather cycle so if you want it to snow constantly you can use the Minecraft command "/gamerule doWeatherCycle false" and then set the weather using "/weather rain"
This mod is only required on the server. Players can connect with vanilla Minecraft client.
NOTE: Since it's a world gen mod adding it to an already generated map won't change already existing chunks, similarly removing it won't remove the snow from generated chunks
