lethimyap-2.1.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Additions
- In-game config menu
- Features a built-in dialogue editor.
- This means you don't have to touch the files directly anymore.
- This replaces the old functionality of
/yap-config. Everything configurable through the client config is available here.- Server-side configs must still be tweaked manually. Seethe.
- It has import and export features as well, using your clipboard to transfer settings between modpacks with built-in protection.
- Or even with your friends?
- Multiple voices
- It's about time. Surely you're all sick of hearing the same voice for everyone, right?
- Text wrapping
- No more 50-block-long dialogue line of doom and despair.
- New API feature (Yes, singular. I'm tired, boss.)
- Adding voices!
registerVoicenow exists!- You… could probably use existing Minecraft sounds as sources. You probably shouldn't. I won't stop you, though.
- Adding voices!
Changes
- Wiped some useless stuff from
sounds.json. - Expanded the dialogue cap from 120 to 512 with the new text-wrapping feature. Go nuts.
Fixes
- Sound attenuation was broken for the longest while because the sounds were in stereo. Minecraft doesn't like to attenuate stereo sounds. They are now mono.
- Maybe my experiences here can help other mod creators who wonder why it won't work for them?
Removed
- Removed an obsolete server config option. You can safely remove
sound = "lethimyap:yap"from your server config if it isn't removed automatically.
