Description

The legendaries mod adds a bunch of cool stuff to the vanilla tools/armor/weapons.

Put your item in an anvil and rename it or something, then take damage, repair or hit mobs (and even more cursed-passive mobs) to gain exp on the item. Over time it will increase in levels, and once this well tempered and used and worn item has gone through enough, it will start to gain legendary status, changing the rarity and strength of the item.

Use your items and they'll gain experience. swords and axes get XP from killing hostile mobs. armor pieces get XP when you repair them at anvil or take damage while wearing them. pickaxes, shovels, axes, and hoes get XP every time you break a block.

as your items level up, they progress through rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic. each level has a chance to boost your item's stats. minor levels give a 33% chance for stat increases, and major levels always give stat bonuses. weapons get more damage and durability. armor gets more armor points and durability. tools get faster mining speed and more durability.

hold shift while hovering over a legendary item to see all the details - current rarity, level, experience progress, and all your stat bonuses. watch your items grow from common gray items into epic powerhouses.

Works with all vanilla weapons, armor, and tools and modded items too; your legendary items keep getting stronger the more you adventure with them.
