Leaf Passage

Walk through the leaves, hide in the canopy, and let monsters follow you into the foliage.

Leaf Passage is a Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge mod that makes leaves passable for players and mobs while keeping their normal appearance, breaking behavior, and drops.

Features

• Passable leaves: Walk and fall through foliage. Mob pathfinding also treats leaves as passable.
• Leaf rustling: Moving through leaves plays the block’s own step sound.
• Softer descent: Falling through leaves slows your downward movement. It does not reset accumulated fall distance or directly reduce fall damage.
• Full-body concealment: Players receive concealment from hostile mob sight checks only when their entire body is inside leaves.
• Persistent pursuit: Monsters already chasing you retain their target while you are fully concealed. Melee pursuers can navigate through the foliage to reach you.

Compatibility

Supports vanilla leaves and modded blocks identified through Material.leaves or Forge’s Block.isLeaves API, including leaves from Biomes O’ Plenty and Forestry. Custom mob AI may behave differently.
