LC²H V3.2.3 | Non‑Blocking Multichunk Integration


V3.2.3 Overview

This patch fixes a rare but nasty stall caused by a blocking multichunk integration path. Integration is now fully asynchronous and completion‑hooked, so heavy worlds no longer freeze when a multichunk finishes computing.


Async Integration Fix

  • Removed blocking join() calls in multichunk integration
  • Integration is now completed via completion hooks only
  • All integrates are scheduled safely on the server thread
  • Prevents async worker stalls and eliminates rare deadlocks under load

Stability Impact

  • Fixes long‑session stalls seen in heavy modpacks
  • Improves worldgen consistency during high‑pressure chunk work
  • Reduces sudden server “hangs” caused by multichunk sync waits
