# LanteaCraft Update: Village Stargates, Address Tablets, and Better Gate Discovery
This update adds the first big pass of naturally discoverable Stargates. You can now find Stargate-related loot, discover real dialable addresses, and encounter rare generated gates near villages.
## New: Village Stargates
Rare Stargate sites can now appear near villages.
These sites generate with a complete Stargate, a matching DHD, and a custom platform. They can also appear in different Stargate variants, so not every generated gate will look the same.
Village gates are real, functional destinations. If you find an address tablet pointing to one, that address should lead to an actual gate.
## New: Address Tablets
Address tablets can now appear as loot.
These tablets contain real Stargate addresses for planned or generated gates. They are meant to act like ancient notes, fragments, or records left behind for players to discover.
Sneak-right-click an address tablet to copy the address to your clipboard.
## New: Stargate Loot
Stargate-themed loot has been added to world loot tables.
You may now find things like:
- Stargate parts
- Crystals
- DHDs
- Address tablets
Dungeon-style chests have a chance to contain Stargate loot, while desert temples now have guaranteed Stargate-themed loot.
## Improved: Gate Addresses
Gate addresses are now much more stable behind the scenes.
Generated gates can move slightly during placement to avoid bad terrain or village buildings without changing their address. This means a tablet can point to a planned gate even before that gate has physically appeared in the world.
If a planned gate has not generated yet, dialing or teleporting to that address can now resolve the destination and place the gate.
## Improved: Generated Gate Placement
Generated village gates are better at finding usable spots near villages.
Placement now does a better job avoiding:
- Village buildings
- Water
- Rough terrain
- Bad intersections
- Clipping into nearby structures
Generated gates now appear when needed, such as when dialed or teleported to, instead of trying to generate passively during chunk loading.
## Improved: Gate Camouflage
Decorator-based gate camouflage has been reintroduced.
Changing gate camouflage now requires holding the decorator item, and the decorator has a crafting recipe.
Sneak-click a block to configure the decorator, then click a gate base to set the camouflage.
