Lanolin is a mod that adds (surprise) lanolin. A resource obtained from smelting sheep's wool which can be applied to armor to make it water resistant.
Water Resistance is a armor bonus that extends how long a wearer can hold their breath, but it wears off. A suit of fully water resistant armor increases the time you can hold your breath by over a minute before it has to be reapplied.
To apply lanolin to armor, simply craft them together (can craft multiple at a time). Crafting with lanolin preserves NBT data on the item, so you don't lose enchantments.
Lanolin allows a player to work/build under water for longer periods of time, without ruining the game balance.
Features:
- Lanolin - A crafting resource obtained by smelting any type of wool in a furnace.
- Water Resistance - An armor bonus ranging from 1-15 which is decreased by 1 every 20 ticks instead of the wearer's oxygen meter. Added to armor by using them together in a crafting table. This in effect increases the time you can spend underwater by 1 second per level of Water Resistance per piece of armor.
New in 0.2b
