Venture into the Upside Down and brave its horrors. Open gates, mirror your world into a dead, spore-filled twin dimension and survive what lives there.

Step through a gate and see what's waiting on the other side.
The Upside Down is a dead twin of your world: no water, no flowers, bare trees, spores in the air and a storm that never stops. Red lightning crawls through the clouds, and only its own creatures live there.
Gates tear open in the world. Press against one to break the membrane (with Immersive Portals you can see through it and just walk in).
What lives there:
- Demogorgons, Demodogs and Demobats
- Dart, a little creature you can raise (and tame with nougat)
- The Mind Flayer, a giant shadow that rises in the storm and watches you
Places to find:
- Hawkins Lab, with the Gate hidden in the basement
- The Nevada mine and Henry's stone
Plus a flashlight, a nail bat, a slingshot, a flamethrower, walkie-talkies, hazmat suits and more.
