Kostina's Nightmare Hardcore Challenge

1. If you are in darkness and are not holding either a lantern or a torch, you will receive the blindness and darkness effects until you find light.

2. If you are using a torch or lantern for light in the dark, there is a chance they will burn out on you and surround you in a ring of fire.

3. Every time you sleep, there is a chance you wake up to phantoms attempting you drag you into the air. They are easy to kill, but be careful of the fall damage!

4. There is a chance that at midnight, the White Pumpkin mini-boss spawns on you just to slash your health down to 1.5 hearts. The White Pumpkin will then try to kill you once your health has been slashed. Chances of the White Pumpkin increase exponentially depending on conditions. Normally, it's a 1/10 chance at midnight. If you're in a dark forest or the deep dark, it's a 1/7 chance. If you are in one of those biomes and standing on a carved pumpkin, it's a 1/5 chance. If you do all the previous conditions AND are holding a minecart, it's a 1/2 chance.

5. Fireflies are added for ambience. Fireflies will spawn in the the darkness of night time.
