KoperLib Core

KoperLib Core is the base library of KoperLib. The other KoperLib modules build on it: it loads the native engines and provides the rendering backend, plus networking, commands, config and shared APIs.
On its own it adds no content to the game. It is installed as a dependency of KoperLib Fullpack APIs, KoperLib Khysics or a mod that needs it.
What is inside
Core is one jar with three nested Fabric mods. Addons depend on the module id they use.
- Core (
koperlib_core): module lifecycle, config, networking, commands, native library loading and the bridges between modules. - Kender (
koperlib_kender): geometry and render backend used by models, effects and physics. - Specific (
koperlib_specific): attachments, multiblocks, workstations, companions and combat APIs.
The KoperLib family
- KoperLib Core: Core, Kender and Specific. Requires Fabric API.
- KoperLib Fullpack APIs: Fullpacks (JSON, Lua and Java content packs), KUImenus, quests, dialogue, Kodel models and animation, KFX effects. RequiresKoperLib Core.
- KoperLib Khysics: moving block grids, joints and physics, Elpe pointphysics. Requires KoperLib Core.
Fullpack APIs and Khysics run without each other. Installed together, they useeach other's features.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API 0.161.0+26.3 or newer
- Java 25
- Linux x86_64 or Windows x86_64
The native engines are bundled for Linux and Windows on x86_64. macOS and ARM are not supported yet. The Windows natives are cross compiled and had less testing than the Linux ones.
Status
KoperLib is in alpha. Features work in the scenarios they were tested in, and the Java API can still change between versions, so addons should pin the KoperLib version they build against. The full list of known gaps is in the README on GitHub.

Bug reports with steps to reproduce, logs and the installed mod list help the most.
How this project is made
KoperLib is written by Koper with help from AI coding tools, mainly Claude and ChatGPT (Codex). Design, in game testing and release decisions are done by a person, and the project is not fully vibe coded. AI written code goes through the same tests and in game checks as the rest.
License
LGPL-3.0-only. Forks and modified versions must stay under the same license. Mods and packs that only use KoperLib as a dependency can use any license. KoperLib is an unofficial Minecraft mod and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
