Kooper's Armor Klasses

Kooper’s Armor Klasses is a mod for those who have gripes with some of the the linear wastefulness that's present in typical Minecraft, while also seeking a new challenge.

Kooper’s Armor Klasses is a mod for those who have gripes with some of the the linear wastefulness that's present in typical Minecraft, while also seeking a new challenge, gone are the days of simply tossing aside old armor for a shiny new set that adds nothing more than a straight upgrade.

This is accomplished by adding four distinct classes of armor, locked to the players armor points.

 

Armor & Armor Attributes:

[Light Armor] 2-12 Armor points

- Bleed Chance: 1 in 12

[Medium Armor] 13-17 Armor points

- Bleed Chance: 1 in 36

- Slowness 1

- Cannot 1.13 swim

[Heavy Armor] 18-24 Armor Points

- Bleed Chance: 1 in 1000

- Slowness 2

- Cannot 1.13 swim

{Superheavy] 24< (Only achievable through mods hence the Ice and Fire dragon Armor)

- Bleed Chance: 1 in 100000

- Constant resistance 1

- Slowness 3

- Cannot 1.13 swim

 

[BLEEDING IS OFF BY DEFAULT AND CAN BE ENABLED IN WORLD CREATION AS A GAMERULE]

The unarmored bleed chance is 1 in 6 per hit while below seven hearts (Bleed cannot proc above seven hearts)

(I personally think it adds a lot of depth to the systems but have been informed by my friends that it's quite annoying)

SPEAKING OF WHICH!

 

ITEMS:

[Tourniquet]

- Stops all bleeding instantly but has a cooldown after use.

[Bandage]

- A sixteen use item thats activated after the cooldown, upon activation it applies the bandaged effect, preventing you from taking bleed damage so long as you avoid getting injured while it's active.

 

[Ironskin Potion]

- After drinking it renders the player incapable of bleeding for five full minutes.

 

[Buckler]

- A small shield with far less durability that adds no armor points (vanilla shield now adds +2) 

 

 

[Spiked Buckler]

- Essentially a low damage high attack speed axe with a passive ability, when held in main or offhand of player it has a 1/3 chance to deal 3 damage unto your attacker (this stacks when in both hands)

 

ADDITONAL FEATURES NOT MENTIONED:

- Chainmail has a recipe
