It’s time to explore an amazing world of fermentation and hunt brand-new monsters in Kombucha! mod.

Kombucha or SCOBY - is a unique biological culture, which is basically a symbiosis of bacteria and yeast. Its unordinary flavour and healing effect were discovered by ancient chinese over 2000 years ago! They called it “Immortality elixir”.

According to traditional recipe, the tea and sugar mixture goes to the vessel (basically jar or a huge bottle), the vessel is being sealed with cloth, it is being placed somewhere without sunlight, and then fermentation begins! Few days later you get tasty and healthy drink. Fun fact: you can reproduce this drink as much as you want! Just make sure there is enough tea mixture in the jar, the kombucha will do the rest!

And now you can brew kombucha in Minecraft! The cave air is full of bacteria. What will happen, if you leave a jar with tea there?

Kombucha brewing using the 'cave fermentation' method. The mod has 6 unique kombucha flavours, some of which require special kombucha mushrooms. To start, place a jar in a cave, fill it with water, and put a regular 'tea mix' into it. Fermentation is a complex and fragile process. It requires patiency and time. And we hope you won’t forget the jar in cave…

If your kombucha-monster fell in battle - don't worry! Just pick up the item it dropped and put it in the jar. Every skill will return to it.
