Adds a bunch of new mobs to the game that make it more challenging.
This mod is heavily inspired by Lycanite's Mobs! Originally created for the modpack Restless Horizons, this mod aims to make the world of Minecraft more diverse and dangerous at every turn. Parasites that spring out of corpses, to giant spiders that burrow and surprise you, there's a plethora of deadly monsters to keep you on your toes.
- Currently, this mod adds about 30+ new creatures to the game. Expect this number to increase!
- Most enemies are configurable! Dont like one spawning, or think it's too frequent? Change it!
- Some animals are breedable and tameable! Soulcores are permanent pets that can be recalled :D
Below is the list of current critters.
Creatures:
Fayrie: Passive. Spawns in forests and flowered areas. Grants passive regen to nearby mobs, and can be bottled.
Blugfly: Hostile. Spawns in forests, jungles, and swamps. Large flies that shoot projectiles at the player.
Cave Crawler: Hostile. Spawns underground. Inflicts poison and crawls fast!
Sand Skimmer: Hostile. Spawns in deserts at night. Hides underground to surprise the player.
Seedling: Passive. No current use. Spawns from broken leaves.
Whalen: Passive. Spawns in plains and savannas. Huge land whales that yield meat and leather upon death.
Kindle: Hostile. Spawns when fire burns around the player. Ignites more things on fire.
Polterghast: Hostile. Chance to spawn when killing any creature.
Gusher: Hostile. Chance to spawn when killing a hostile creature.
Crumble: Hostile. Spawns rarely when mining ore.
Madre & Nino: Hostile. Spawns in dark areas. Spider.
Thrasher: Hostile. Spawns in various oceans. Very fast, and follows boats.
Mawga: Hostile. Spawns in oceans and rivers.
Leaper: Hostile. Spawns in swamps during the day.
Vortex: Hostile. Spawns when the player is above Y-level 150. Throws you around.
Woolshin: Passive, Breedable. Spawns in cold biomes. Breed with Hay Bales. Shearable.
Leechlet: Neutral/Hostile. Will attack if provoked, and will also attack if you are below 80% HP. Spawns near bodies of water.
Screechbeast: Hostile. Tameable flying mount. Only spawns on full moons.
Punished: Hostile. Spawns in the Nether.
Thumper: Hostile. Roams in deserts.
Orchids: Hostile. Spawns in Lush Caves or from destroying natural beauty.
Overgrowth: Hostile. Spawns from grass.
Frostbite: Hostile. Spawns in freezing places.
Sentinel: Pasive. Ancient, odd technology. Spawns in dungeons.
Anaboa: Hostile. Spawns in Jungles.
Fleshmonger: Hostile. Spawns in jungles at night.
Eyebat: Hostile. Spawns around the nether.
Chompy: Hostile. Spawns around the nether.
Boarhound: Neutral. Spawns in forests at night.
Torcheater: Hostile. Spawns in lit area underground. Eats torches.
Harvester: Hostile. Spawns from breaking crops.
Seer: Neutral. Spawns in the End.
Molten: Hostile. Spawns in the nether.
Glisten: Hostile. Spawns from breaking rare ores.
Geckin: Neutral, Breedable. Spawns in Savannas and Forests, and hunts bugs. Breed with Raw Anten
Anten: Neutral. Spawns in forests, plains, and savannas.
Spikut: Neutralish, Breedable. Not directly harmful, but they're spiky! Spawns on beaches and mountains. Breed with Sugar Cane.
Roostro: Passive, Breedable. Spawns in plains and savannas. Breed with Beetroot, Melon, or Pumpkin seeds.
Stalker: Hostile. Spawns in dark areas rarely.
Rotbelly: Neutral. Spawns in plains at night.
CERBERUS: Boss. Summoning ritual featured in Restless Horizons. 3x3 Grid. 4 Gold blocks on the corners, with Hellstone Gate Bricks for the rest. In the center above it, place a Hellish Gateway Block. On top of the Hellish gateway block, place another Hellstone Gate Brick block. When finished, right-click the Hellish gateway block. (This boss fight is incredibly challenging with vanilla gear)
