Something fell from the sky, and it is still alive.
In Marvel's mythology the symbiotes were forged at the dawn of the universe by Knull, a primordial god of the void who made them as weapons against the Celestials. They eventually turned on their creator and sealed him inside the artificial world they had built for him — then renamed themselves after the word for what that world had become: Klyntar, the cage.
One of them has found its way to your world. It is looking for a host.
The bond
Bonding with a symbiote is not a switch you flip — it is a relationship that takes time. Your affinity grows for every day you spend with the creature on your skin, and it remembers: leave Venom for another symbiote and its own bond is still waiting for you when you come back.
That bond unlocks the mod's progression in three stages:
- Symbiote Bond Level 1 — the suit answers to you.
- Symbiote Bond Level 2 — the combat moveset and the tool wheel open up.
- Symbiote Bond Level 3 — the full arsenal, and the door to Knull's Bond.
Neglect it and the bond decays: a starving symbiote turns berserk and trusts you less afterwards.
It has to eat
The suit is a living thing with its own hunger. Feed it and it fights for you. Let it starve and it takes what it needs — from you.
What you can do
In combat — unleash the symbiote and strike with a full melee moveset: crushing punches, ground slams, spinning attacks and talons. Grab enemies with a tentacle to pull them in, shove them away or throw them. Raise a shield of living matter, fire a symbiote blast, or drop into rage mode when the fight turns.
Getting around — swing and grapple across the world with traversal tentacles, take to the air with symbiote flight, and climb sheer walls, hang from ceilings and move along them.
Everyday life — the combat tool wheel shapes the symbiote into a pickaxe or an axe that cut through stone and wood as fast as netherite, so you never have to break the bond to get work done.
In the world
Look for symbiote capsules and the traces of Knull — his geodes grow underground, and his fragments are worth finding. Promethium X and its explosive form give you something with which to dig them out.
Credits
This mod exists because of Arath Nido and his Spider-Man Project Add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
All models and textures used in this mod come from his add-on. Klyntar Mod is a port of that work from Bedrock Edition to Java Edition, rebuilt on Forge and Palladium so that Java players can experience the symbiote he created.
Every credit for the visual work belongs to him. If you play on Bedrock, go and get the original — it is a far larger project than this one, with the whole Spider-Man universe in it: suits, villains, web-shooters, missions and more.
