Kirri's Casino: Slots, Roulette & Blackjack

Clients and servers must both update: the network protocol changed.

The biggest visual update yet: realistic machines, luxury building blocks and a casino that looks the part.

Slot machines, rebuilt

• New cabinets with real volume: rounded gold corners, chrome columns around the glass and a big chrome coin tray.
• A jackpot crown on top shows the server jackpot in neon, with bulbs chasing round the arch.
• A light reflection sweeps across the glass now and then, and the lever has a chrome ball.
• Coins pour into the tray when you win and stay piled up for a while.

Roulette, remade

• Lacquered two-tone wooden bowl with a polished ball track and gold diamonds.
• Gold frets between the pockets, a chrome turret with four arms, and a shiny white ball.
• Motion blur when the wheel spins fast.
• The ball runs on the track, drops, bounces off the diamonds and settles in its pocket.
• Gold numbers on the felt.

Dealers that handle the bets

• After a spin, losing bets slide off the felt towards the wheel. Winning bets get their prize pushed onto them, then slide back to the player.
• New dealer moves: a sweep across the felt to collect, and a pick-and-push to pay. Used at every table.
• New dealer outfit: white shirt, black waistcoat with gold buttons, bow tie, sleeve garters and a crimson dealer visor.

Cards with real faces

• J, Q and K have drawn court figures. Number cards use real pip layouts, and aces have a big centre suit.
• New card back: crimson, with a gold "K" chip emblem.
• The same cards are used on the tables, in the HUD and in the arcade.

Luxury building blocks (23 new)

• White and black marble (gold veins), each with polished, stairs and slab versions.
• Marble checker floor.
• Vegas carpet in red and royal blue, with border and corner pieces.
• Mahogany wall panels that stack.
• Gilded coffered ceiling and gold mirror.
• Coin fountain and golden lion statue.
• Grand staircase with red carpet and a gold banister that follows the flight.
• Velvet curtains that join up.
• A huge crystal chandelier (three blocks wide).

Casino Builder

• Mouse wheel to turn the casino, right-click to place it, sneak + right-click for the catalogue.
• All five ready-made casinos are restyled with the new marble, carpets, grand staircases, chandeliers and golden lions.

Casino Configurator (new, creative only)

• Hit any table or machine to choose which items can be bet there. Any item from Minecraft or any mod can be picked, with a search box and an "all ingots" button.
• Slot machines get one coin of your choice.
• "General list" goes back to the server's settings.

• A short rising chime when you win (longer for bigger wins).
