kinora-replay-0.1.0-26.2.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Kinora Replay 0.1.0: first release
For Minecraft 26.2 with NeoForge 26.2.0.88 or newer. Needs Java 25 (the version Minecraft 26.2 comes with). Client only.
Making videos needs FFmpeg, a free extra program. See the setup steps on the mod page. Recording, watching, editing, photos and image sequences work without it.
Record
- Press F6 to record while you play, in singleplayer or on any server (the server does not need Kinora).
- Markers are added by themselves for deaths, kills, explosions, advancements and more; F7 adds your own.
- Replay buffer: F8 saves the last few minutes, even if you were not recording.
- Recordings survive a game crash.
Watch
- Open recordings from the Replays button on the title screen.
- Pause, rewind, slow motion, frame by frame; jump between markers.
- Free camera, follow any player or mob, or orbit around them.
- Photo mode: 4K, 8K or 16K stills.
- Player names can be hidden (V).
Film
- Camera editor (E): place camera points and the camera glides between them.
- Ready-made moves: orbit, dolly zoom, crane, fly-through, whip pan, reveal, push-in, turntable.
- Look-at, follow cams, camera shake, speed ramps, freeze frames, reverse.
- Color grading, vignette, film grain, bloom, letterbox, depth of field with autofocus.
- Change the time of day and weather in a shot.
- Live cut: switch between up to nine cameras while the replay plays.
- Titles, auto-director, undo, project versions, and sharing a replay with a friend in one file.
Render
- Perfectly timed frames: smooth video no matter how fast your PC is.
- MP4 (H.264, H.265, AV1), fast GPU encoding on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, ProRes, WebM, PNG and OpenEXR sequences.
- Up to 120 fps, motion blur, supersampling, and frames bigger than your screen.
- Game sounds as the camera hears them, plus optional music.
- 360° and 3D video, ready for YouTube.
- Render queue: stop with Esc and resume later.
Works with
- Sodium and Iris shader packs.
- Distant Horizons: far terrain shows in replays.
- OpenGL and Vulkan.
For mod developers
- An API (LGPL-3.0) lets other mods add their own data to recordings and react to replays. See the GitHub page.
