Kinetica is a client-side Fabric mod that aims to make your PvP experience more interesting: the camera kicks, the audio hits harder when enabled in the settings, and every explosion comes with weight.
Beta release. Bug reports are very welcome in the Discord server.
FEATURES
CAMERA
Impact kick when explosions happen around you :3
Strafe roll and sprint FOV for a sense of speed
Panic side tilt when you're close to dying, if enabled in your settings
BLAST EFFECTS
Crystal telegraph and crystal explosion effects
Anchor shockwave, impact, and FOV pulses to make it stand out more
Ender pearl and totem pop effects are improved
Shockwave glow, exposure flash, and better explosions
HEALTH FEEDBACK
Low and critical health visuals, with sensitivity you can tweak in the config
Directional damage
Configurable panic health threshold alongside other settings
AUDIO
Improved explosion sounds (off by default)
Ambient ducking, so the fight cuts through the surrounding noise
HUD
Hit marker and intensity meter can be used during combat
Minimal HUD during combat (optional)
Optionally hide chat, titles, and scoreboards while fighting
CONFIGURATION
Everything is adjustable in game from the Effects Settings screen, with separate strength sliders for Camera, Audio, Visual, and HUD. There's also a Toggle Panic Effects keybind. Find both under the Kinetica category in Controls.
