Kinetic Throw

Give your items a more dynamic send-off! Kinetic Throw adds charged item throwing, player throw animations, inventory toss effects, and throwable projectiles to Minecraft.

Requirements

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1

• Fabric Loader 0.16.0 or newer

• Fabric API for Minecraft 1.20.1

• Java 17 or newer

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.20.1.

2. Download Fabric API for the same Minecraft version.

3. Place Fabric API and the Kinetic Throw JAR in your mods folder.

4. Launch Minecraft using your Fabric profile.

Controls

Open Options → Controls → Key Binds and find the Kinetic Throw category. Check or change the Charge Throw key binding there.

Multiplayer

For the full throwing and physics experience, install Kinetic Throw and Fabric API on both the server and participating players’ clients.

The mod includes a fallback message for servers without Kinetic Throw support: normal item dropping with a local animation, instead of full server-side throwing physics.

Bug Reports

When reporting an issue, include your Minecraft version, Fabric Loader version, Fabric API version, mod version, and steps to reproduce the problem. Attach the relevant crash report or log when available.
