Keystone v1.1.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Keystone v1.1
New tools, smoother performance, better behaviour alongside other mods, and a long list of fixes.
New
- Random Placement: each block comes from a random slot of your hotbar palette, for textured walls and gradients.
- Exact Pick Block (creative): middle-click copies a block with its rotation and shape, so it places the same way wherever you look.
- Symmetry Guide: set a centre, and every block you place shows ghost copies where its mirror images go (mirror X, Z, both, or four-way rotation).
- Build Guide material list: how many blocks, stacks and shulkers the guide still needs, and how much is built. Also
.guide. - Piston Push Info: look at a piston to see "pushes 7/12", or why it can't push.
- Signal Trace: look at redstone dust to light up its whole wire and every block it powers.
- Damage Log: what hurt you, how much, and when.
- Sound Pointers: monster sounds you can't see get a marker around your crosshair pointing their way.
- Despawn timer on the death marker: how long until your items vanish.
- Hotbar Layouts: save your hotbar and put it back with one key. Name more with
.layout. .find <item>: highlights every container you've opened that holds the item.- HUD: Block State and Session Stats modules, and the moon phase in the Time module.
- Presets per world: "This world" on a preset (or
.preset link) switches to it whenever you join that world or server. - Menu: a dot marks cards you've changed; Shift + right-click a card to reset it.
Smoother
- The K menu no longer rebuilds itself every frame, so opening it, searching and switching tabs are instant.
- The HUD, placement preview, redstone labels, storage labels and tooltips reuse their work instead of redoing it every frame.
- The light level overlay is spread across ticks, with no small stutters at big ranges.
- Settings are saved in the background.
- Redstone labels update the moment a block changes instead of up to a quarter second later.
- Placements that need a sideways turn show their block straight away. Several in a row facing the same way go through instantly, and extra clicks are never dropped.
Works better with other mods
- Default keys move off keys other mods use: the menu becomes Ctrl + K and the Item Selector V when Iris or Axiom use K and R. Built-in presets avoid Litematica's M and I.
- If another mod already does what a Keystone feature does (Zoomify, Tweakeroo, Item Swapper, AppleSkin, MiniHUD…), that feature starts off.
- Keystone pauses its automation inside Flashback replays and leaves Litematica's Easy Place alone.
- Holding Alt for Keystone no longer blocks Axiom from seeing it.
- Hooks into Minecraft are lighter and step aside instead of crashing if another mod changes the same code.
- World labels checked with Sodium, Iris and a shader pack.
Fixes
- Hotkeys now work while you're sneaking or sprinting.
- Keys no longer get stuck after alt-tabbing.
- The Item Selector never replaces the item you're holding, and no longer takes the R key when you can't use it.
- Tool Break Guard no longer stops you opening chests or doors, or using shields and food.
- Locked slots are respected by sorting, hotbar swap, mass move, hand restock, elytra swap and double-click collecting.
- Mass Move no longer bounces items between your hotbar and inventory.
- Hand Restock no longer refills a stack you dropped on purpose.
- Storage labels and container fill:
- They only remember real containers.
- They show double chests once.
- They forget broken chests.
- Opening a villager's trades no longer leaves a label on the last block you clicked.
- Direction arrows on observers point where the eyes look.
- The light overlay's numbers style now shows real light levels.
- Replace Mode can re-rotate a block in place.
- Waypoints are kept separately for singleplayer worlds that share a name.
- One damaged config entry no longer resets the rest.
- The sleep reminder now accounts for rain.
