Description

KeyLatch

A client-side Fabric mod that turns any keybind into a toggle: tap it once and the game keeps it held down for you, tap it again to let go.

Walking across a 4000-block road, holding sneak through an entire mineshaft, keeping a key down while you do something else — all of it becomes one keypress.

How it works

  1. Press L to turn Key Lock on. A small indicator appears above the chat.
  2. While it's on, tap any bound key — W, Shift, Ctrl, attack, use item, anything in your Controls list. That key is now latched and shows up in the on-screen list.
  3. Tap the same key again to release it.
  4. Press L again to release everything at once.

Opposite bindings cancel each other out, so latching back while forward is latched reverses your direction instead of fighting itself — same for left and right.

Press P to freeze the camera: the mouse stops turning your view, so you can walk a straight line or move the mouse away from the game. It works independently of Key Lock, and both keys are rebindable in Options → Controls.

Client-side only — nothing to install on the server.
