What does this mod do?
This is a simple yet essential quality-of-life mod that ensures all items in your hotbar remain in your inventory when you die, instead of being dropped on the ground. That’s it!
In vanilla Minecraft, losing everything upon death is the standard penalty. But when playing in high-difficulty modded environments (such as Scape and Run: Parasites), recovering your items can feel borderline impossible. This mod bridges that gap—keeping the survival stakes high while removing the frustrating, game-ending grind of total item loss.
Why use Hotbar Keep?
- Instant Recovery: Keep your primary weapons, tools, or recovery items on hand so you can get back into the action immediately after respawning.
- Perfect for Hardcore Modpacks: Protect your essential gear from despawning or getting trapped in dangerous, heavily infested enemy territory.
What is protected?
