Description
This mod backports key features from Minecraft 1.21 into 1.20.1, including:
- Mace with its unique smash attack
- Wind Charge
- Breeze Rod
- All three new enchantments: Density, Breach, and Wind Burst
Current Wind Charge Behavior
The Wind Charge works even without a mace in your inventory, but you will take fall damage unless you’re carrying one. This happens because the fall distance script that disables fall damage only runs if a mace is present in a player’s inventory.
That also means:
- If you have a mace and use a Wind Charge, you won’t take fall damage.
- Other entities without a mace will take fall damage, even if they’re affected by the same Wind Charge.
- The Wind Charge does not behave exactly as it does in 1.21. Movement is different, so actions like climbing walls are limited or require staggered approaches.
I may refine this behavior in future updates to more closely match vanilla 1.21.
Development Notes
No code from Mojang was used in this project.
All functionality was recreated manually to mimic the behavior of the original features.
Update Policy
Updates are not guaranteed. Most of the features are already implemented, so updates may be few and far between unless bug fixes or improvements are needed.
