Just Carve

Just Carve lets you carve vanilla Minecraft blocks into stairs, slabs, and other shapes by removing individual 1/8 sections of a block.

It works with different block variants while supporting their block states and connections. Instead of needing separate blocks for every shape, you can carve the blocks you already have into the shape you want. This also works with walls, fences, iron bars and glas panes.

How to Use

Hold Left Alt to display a subgrid that lets you carve a full block into stairs, slabs, and all their block state variations, down to a slab. Holding Left Alt also prevents block updates while placing carvable blocks. Hold Shift + Left Alt to break carvable blocks as whole blocks without triggering any block updates.

Modpack Permissions

You are permitted to include Just Carve in any Minecraft modpack, provided the mod is obtained from an official source and remains unmodified.

Redistribution of modified versions or reuploading the mod as a standalone download is not permitted without prior written permission.
