Jumping Spoods introduces a collection of expressive, adorable jumping spider species into Minecraft. Whether you’re a casual adventurer, a collector at heart, or a devoted spider enthusiast, this mod brings a gentle touch of wonder to your world.
- Currently includes 10+ different species with gender specific color schemes.
- Glass jars allowing you to capture them.
- Terrariums that allow you to display and show off your collection.
- Large terrariums that can be customized with decor.
- All Spoods retain their animations within terrariums!
A side note: In case you are having trouble finding these little critters in the wild, they are biome specific. Much like their real life counterparts, they will only spawn in biomes they would be native to in climates from around the world. For example, Phidippus Audax will spawn in more temporate biomes, while Paraphidippus Fartilis will spawn in dryer more humid biomes.
To open the GUI menu for the large terrarium, shift + right click with a free hand.
Within this menu, you can add three decor options including; skulls / mob heads/ player heads, a hollow log hide, and a mushroom addition to the hide. (Decor options currently only vanilla heads, logs, and mushrooms, but I will be adding further support for mod compat in the future.)
