Jujutsu Mission(Jujutsu Craft Addon)

Learn Jujutsu Craft techniques from sorcerer NPCs instead of stumbling into them. Ten missions from Kusakabe, Naobito, Yuta and Gojo teach Simple Domain, Falling Blossom Emotion, Reverse Cursed Technique and Domain Expansion — and lock every other route.

In Jujutsu Craft, techniques eventually land in your lap — grind the usage counter long enough, pick the right cursed technique, get hit enough times, and Domain Expansion simply arrives. This addon moves that moment to a teacher.

Four sorcerers hand out ten missions between them. Meet the objectives and the technique is yours on the spot — no walking back to hand anything in.

The teachers

Who Teaches
Atsuya Kusakabe Simple Domain, then the New Shadow Style chain — Novice → Intermediate → Advanced
Naobito Zenin Falling Blossom Emotion
Yuta Okkotsu (Culling Game) Reverse Cursed Technique, stages 1 and 2
Satoru Gojo The Path to Domain Expansion — three missions ending in Domain Expansion itself

Kusakabe's opening mission gates Naobito's, and his Intermediate rank is an objective of Gojo's final mission, so the lines cross rather than running in parallel.

Simple Domain I / II / III

Jujutsu Craft has a single Simple Domain with no ranks. This mod adds three, each with its own advancement, earned from Kusakabe's New Shadow Style chain.

Each rank extends how long the barrier holds, shortens its cooldown, and — the point of the whole line — lets you stand inside someone else's Domain Expansion for longer before it eats through. Rank III adds Resistance on top.

Missions

  • Take several at once. The right-hand scroll tracks one of them; pin whichever you like from the log
  • Objectives beyond killing things — reach a sorcerer grade, endure cumulative damage, hold Simple Domain inside an enemy domain for a number of seconds, gather Sukuna's fingers, deploy a technique a set number of times
  • Rewards land the instant you finish. Die mid-mission and progress survives — it lives in the player's persistent data, not the world
  • Missions you haven't unlocked don't appear at all. Not greyed out — the server never sends them, so the chain ahead stays hidden even from someone reading packets

Talking to a teacher

A horizontal parchment bar sits across the bottom of the screen. The NPC stops where it stands and turns to face you for the length of the conversation, and walks off again the moment it ends. You cannot start a conversation mid-fight, and an ongoing one closes itself if a fight starts, if you walk more than 12 blocks away, or if either of you changes dimension.

The objective checklist hangs on a separate scroll to the right and is visible before you accept, so you can see what you are signing up for.

Teachers come to you

Once per in-game day, in daylight, each teacher turns up near you — one at a time, with a gap of one to two minutes between arrivals, not all four at once. They spawn in a ring 18–40 blocks out on solid ground, and they are marked persistent so they will not despawn while you go and find them.

There is no chat announcement. You are meant to notice them in the world.

Techniques stay locked

Anything a mission teaches can no longer be picked up by simply playing. Grinding the technique-use counter, being hurt, right-clicking certain NPCs — all of it stops handing over Simple Domain, Falling Blossom Emotion, Reverse Cursed Technique or Domain Expansion.

What still works:

  • Mastery items (Simple Domain Mastery and friends) — right-click and the technique is yours
  • Choosing the matching cursed technique
  • /advancement grant for operators

Mastery items are also removed from loot while the lock is on, so the Stevenson screen can no longer hand you the reward before you have met the teacher. Items for techniques no mission teaches — Six Eyes, Domain Amplification, Completely Physically Gifted — drop exactly as they always did.

The whole thing is one game rule:/gamerule jjmissionLockTechniques false

Turn it off and Jujutsu Craft behaves exactly as it always has. It is on by default.

For pack makers

Missions are plain JSON in data/<namespace>/jjmissions/*.json — objectives, rewards, prerequisites, dialogue, and both languages of every string. Add your own or rewrite the shipped ones with a datapack; nothing is hardcoded, and the technique lock follows whatever your missions teach. Drop the Yuta missions and Reverse Cursed Technique goes back to being learned the vanilla way on its own.

Every string ships in Korean and English, resolved on the client, so both languages read correctly on a mixed server.
