JOURNEY TO THE WEST

Journey to the West is a Minecraft Mod that is deeply inspired by Japanese and East Asian culture!

The mod adds a plethora of blocks and items, all taking on a specific flare of Japanese culture. Create buildings out of shoji, plaster, jade, and more. Build temples out of Temple Bricks, Laterite, Basalt Bricks, and more. Craft noodles and plant cherry blossom bushes. Fight the terrifying Oni, an enemy that appears in the Cherry Blossom Grove. Build with Japanese and Asian inpsired blocks, from Pagoda Tiles to Temple Bricks to Tofu Dreg and Lacquered Wood!

Currently working on the Orient Update, which will add many Indian and West Asian inspired items and blocks! Craft Laterite, Basalt Bricks, trade for Shcist, and more! The first part of the update, 1.4.0, has also added Curry, Turmeric, Madder, and a few more items and plants.
