JOB HUNTING DREAD

Job Hunting Dread is a Minecraft horror mod centered around job anxiety and corporate horror. Based on the file's code and assets, the complete structure of the mod includes:

Entities and Mobs

• Job Application: A hostile mob resembling a printed application form with eyes. It plays sounds of crumpling paper, mechanical whispers, screams, and typewriter clicks. It attacks by projecting ink, creating a blinding visual overlay effect (ink_overlay.png).

• Living Shovel / Shovel Mob: An entity mob that drags its metal body while producing metallic scraping, digging, and groaning noises.

Items

• Employee of the Month Shovel: A unique themed combat weapon/tool.

• Contract Signature: A thematic item associated with progression or mob interactions.

• Stained Application Page: A crafting material or drop obtained from paper mobs.

• Spawn Eggs: Custom spawn eggs for both the Job Application and Living Shovel.

Sound Atmosphere and Visual Effects

• Particle Effects: Ink splat particles (ink_splat) and rust sparks (rust_spark).

• Custom Audio Design:

  • Sounds of postage stamps, typewriters, paper crinkles, and sinister whispers for job applications.

  • Digging, burying, metallic impacts, shovel dragging, and groaning for the shovel mob.

• UI & Advancements: Custom office background (office.png) within the advancements menu.

• Language Support: Built-in translations for English (en_us) and multiple Spanish variants (es_es, es_mx, es_ar, es_cl, es_ec, es_uy, es_ve).
