JMG's Better Than Ever (BTE)

(This mod is a solo project made in MCreator, made as a hobby and for community entertainment, so please be careful when adding it to already existing packs due to the drastic features and compatibility aspects. So share your suggestions for the future and report any exploits and bugs (but not the funny ones!))

JMG’s Better Than Ever is a mod focused on completely changing your vanilla progression into something completely extensive, difficult, brand new... and better than it could ever be! Start a new world with less health and hunger bars, a new thirst meter. Raise your survival bars with the more xp you gain, and unlock a new battle against temperature! Monsters are now armed to their teeth, having random levels that make them stronger, new mounts, and new foes to the roster, such as the minion, werewolf, wraith, and the cyclops!  

Even with a revamped and harsh progression, the goal is the same: start from nothing, and build your path to defeat the Ender Dragon! BTE always gives you more challenges, but it never takes away ways to be creative. Build campfires, hunt your food, explore the world, survive the night, forge new tools, mine in the darkness, build nice homes, face more enemies, make machines... the list is endless.

The mod includes more mechanics to tool progression, by making wooden tools useless, adding a forging system, tiered furnaces to melt new metals, machines to make advanced items, and new tiers that enter the progression line, such as copper, bronze and steel. But besides the hustle  the mod also introduces new foods to feast on, new building blocks, spices, furniture and stylish hats. 

Defeat old foes with new abilities. Unlock materials by travelling in the brutal world and defeating mobs. Make little and huge steps to feel safe once again, but don't die in the way!

Explore new ores in the Nether, which are the equivalents of Overworld's materials. Use new fuels, building blocks, and much more.
