What's new

This update further enhances customizability, granting players with the ability to make there own quests/questpacks and allowing you to play on your own custom maps/worlds! It also includes new world settings such as entire worlds per player/team, and bug fixes / qol changes.

Quest maker – If you turn around from spawn you will see a work bench called the quest maker. The quest maker allows you to create your very own quests! To make a quest you need to go through 3 phases: Code, texture, and naming, these are described below:

Code: I have made the coding as simple as possible by putting code words into blocks which you can simply place in an order that makes sense. Eat 5 carrot and eat 5 potato would mean that the quest requires you to eat 5 carrots and 5 potatoes. Simple!

Texture: Find the items/textures that you want and click on a square that is in one of the corners or the middle square to add that item/texture to it. Simple. If you want to have cycling textures such as in this case the middle item I want to cycle between a carrot and a potato, you can simply add frames via the add page button. Think of it as like a stop motion animation.

Naming: You can then give the quest a name and a description, then assign it a rarity. That’s it!

You can store a collection of quests to make a ‘questpack’ which you can share with the community aswell!

You can then test the quest/questpack or implement them into actual games:

New world settings:

Bingo world settings lobby screen: Added another lobby settings screen but for world settings to the right of the game lobby settings screen.

Custom worlds: In the bingo world settings there is now an option in the seed mode cycle called “imported custom world”. Here you can click “select world save” which opens file explorer where you can select a world file containing a level.dat file to upload and play bingo on. One example of how this can be used is for skyblock bingo. Combine this with the rarity changer and black/whitelist menus to customise a skyblock specific set of items/quests that can appear on the card, you can also combine it with the new quest maker to make your own skyblock tailored quests. This is just one example of how these new features can be used.

Skyblock map preset: I have included a skyblock map world preset to the world type setting cycle.

Separate dimensions: You can now enable or disable separate dimensions in the bingo world settings menu. You can have it set to per player or per team, enabling you to play games against each other whilst having a whole world to yourself, this can be paired with sky block to give each player their own world/island for example.

RNG settings: you can now disable rng elements making the game ‘fairer’. If rng is disabled, then actions that usually result in randomness should be equal for all players. This includes things like how much of something a mob drops when killed, or how many bones it takes to tame a wolf etc. It would still be random, but equal random; for example, the first blaze may drop a blaze rod, and it will do so for all players, but the second might not which will be the same for all players.

Structure frequency setting change: You can now set structure frequency to 0% which essentially disables structures from spawning completely.

QOL changes:

New settings menu: the ban manager: This is a new settings menu that you can access via an item in your inventory in the lobby, or via a lobby screen on the left of the main game settings screen. This settings menu visually shows you what quests/items are banned according to your games current selected settings. It updated dynamically. For example, if you disable hunger, then quests that require you to eat things will be banned, this automatic banning system was an already existing feature but this menu makes it clear for players. You can also interact with this menu to unban quests/items that you see there. There is also a button on this menu called rarity changes, which  when pressed takes you to another page where you can see the active items/quests that have had there rarity changed by players in your lobby if they have customised items/quests rarities via the rarity changer so that they don’t come as a surprise after you start the game.

Configurable mines and effects mode: You can now chose what effects can appear in effects mode and what mines can appear in mines mode. This can be done via pressing on either the mines or effects button in the black/white list settings menu. This means you can create games such as player swap every 5mins only etc.

Optimised shuffle upgrades in skill tree mode as they were causing lag.

Bug fixes:

Potentially fixed a bug whereby players were sent to the void to perish endlessly after death.

Potentially fixed a bug whereby the scoreboard will sometimes show an empty team.

Fixed the following quests: obtain all minecart types; obtain all stone brick variants; attach a lead to x unique entities.

Potentially fixed a bug whereby the card swap mode did not swap cards correctly.

Fixed a bug whereby hunger was not disabled after purchasing the disable hunger upgrade in skill tree mode.
