# WorldGuard 2.0 (1.20.1) - v1.2.6 Update Notes

## New Features

* **Version Checker**: Added asynchronous web update checking on startup and player join against `https://minecraft.weinrichdevelopment.com/updates.json`. Notifies OP / admin players upon joining if a newer version is available with a clickable link to `https://minecraft.weinrichdevelopment.com/world-protect`.

* **Version Command**: Added `/wg debug version` (also accessible via `/worldguard debug version` and `/worldgaurd debug version`) to inspect current mod version and trigger an on-demand update check.

* **Filter Groups Management Suite**: Added `/wg filtergroups` command tree (`create`, `delete`, `rename`, `copy`, `list`, and `manage`) to easily control item filter groups.

* **Interactive Filter Group Chat GUI**: The `/wg filtergroups manage` command now provides a paginated, clickable chat interface allowing administrators to easily browse and remove specific items from a filter group.

## Bug Fixes

* **Zone Flag UI Rendering**: Fixed an issue where the Zone Flag GUI appeared blurry as if trapped behind the background blur. Adjusted the render order so the screen background renders behind the list elements and title text.

* **EconomyPlus Feature Parity**: Fixed a bug where JakesEconomyPlus was not fully integrated into all plot and banking commands. All bank commands (`/wg plots manage bank deposit/withdraw`, `/wg plots manage zone-bank withdraw`, `/wg plots bank deposit/withdraw`), claim checks, and Plot UI displays now properly enforce and display Economy Plus pricing instead of defaulting to "Free".

* **Filter Group Permission Syntax**: Fixed an issue where filter groups were missing or not correctly formatted in the permissions command (`!GroupName`). They now accurately appear and function with the exclamation prefix syntax.
