Jakes Economy Plus v1.0.9-Forge1.20.1

THE FEATURE CONFIG & MODULARITY UPDATE

Features & Improvements

  • Modular Feature Toggles Configuration: Added server configuration options allowing server administrators to selectively enable or disable core mod features:

    • startingBalance — The starting balance granted to new players on first join.
    • chestShopsEnabled — Enable or disable sign-based chest shops ([Shop] signs).
    • adminShopsEnabled — Enable or disable the Admin Shop GUI system (/shop command).
    • jobsEnabled — Enable or disable the Jobs system and events.
    • chatGamesEnabled — Enable or disable Chat Games.
    • chatAuctionsEnabled — Enable or disable Chat Auctions.
    • bankNotesEnabled — Enable or disable Bank Notes (/withdraw and banknote redemption).
    • useSDMShop — Enable or disable SDMShop/SDMEconomy integration.
  • In-Game Admin Config Management Command (/eca config):

    • /eca config — Displays the current status of all server configuration options.
    • /eca config <option> — Queries the current setting for a specific option.
    • /eca config <option> <value> — Dynamically sets and persists configuration values in real-time. Changing useSDMShop automatically notifies administrators that a server restart is required to apply backend changes.
  • Enforced Gating & Restrictions:

    • Disabling bankNotesEnabled blocks /withdraw, /eca banknote, and prevents claiming existing banknotes held in hand.
    • Disabling chestShopsEnabled specifically gates sign-based chest shops without affecting /shop.
    • Disabling jobsEnabled, adminShopsEnabled, chatGamesEnabled, or chatAuctionsEnabled halts all associated commands, GUI interfaces, event listeners, and background schedulers.
  • Global Configuration Location & Automated Migration:

    • Updated configuration registration to store jakeseconomyplus-server.toml in the main config/ directory instead of the world folder (world/serverconfig).
    • Automatically checks for existing configuration files in legacy world serverconfig folders upon startup/world loading and migrates them to config/jakeseconomyplus-server.toml if no main configuration exists yet. If no existing configuration is found, a new default configuration is generated.
  • 100% Server-Side Shop NPC System:

    • Added native entity Shop NPCs requiring zero client-side mod installation.
    • Invulnerable, immobile, non-pushable entities that persist across world restarts.
    • Supports spawning any registered entity mob type (villagers, pigs, iron golems, parrots, frogs, etc.) with customizable variants (biomes, professions for villagers) and baby status (isBaby).
    • Interacting with an NPC directly opens its linked Admin Shop GUI category.
    • Category permission enforcement: Enforces category permission checks when accessing shop NPCs or category menus (respecting showIfNoPermission).
    • Hidden Shop Categories (showInCategoryList): Configurable option per category (show_in_list property in /eca shop category edit <id>). When set to false, the category is hidden from the main /shop category menu and can only be accessed via linked Shop NPCs or direct access.
    • Improved Navigation Flow: Retains single-category focus when closing transactions from an NPC shop.
    • Multi-Category NPC Support: Linked NPCs can now store multiple space-separated shop category IDs (e.g., ores blocks). Interacting with a multi-category NPC opens a customized category selector menu displaying only the linked categories, and clicking "Go Back" inside any category returns to the NPC's category menu.
    • Standardized Administration Command Hierarchy (/eca npc ...):
      • /eca npc spawn <ID> [<Gui ID...>] — Spawns a Shop NPC with one or multiple space-separated GUI IDs (defaults to main). Features auto-completion for shop category IDs.
      • /eca npc remove <ID> — Despawns and deletes a Shop NPC.
      • /eca npc move <ID> — Relocates an NPC to your current position and head direction.
      • /eca npc get — Raytraces and returns details for the targetted NPC.
      • /eca npc edit [<ID>] — Interactive chat menu displaying all NPC properties (Name Tag, GUI ID, Mob Type, Baby Status, Variant, Profession) with clickable [Edit] / [Toggle] buttons.
      • /eca npc edit <ID> name <nameTag> — Edits NPC display name tag.
      • /eca npc edit <ID> gui <guiId...> — Changes linked shop GUI IDs with multi-category space-separated support and auto-completion.
      • /eca npc edit <ID> mob <entityType> — Changes NPC entity type with mob auto-completion.
      • /eca npc edit <ID> baby <true|false|toggle> — Toggles baby status for ageable entities.
      • /eca npc edit <ID> variant <variant> — Changes mob variants (e.g. Villager biomes: plains, desert, taiga, etc.).
      • /eca npc edit <ID> profession <profession> — Changes Villager profession (librarian, farmer, etc.).
      • /eca npc list [<page>] — Lists registered NPCs with interactive [Edit] and [Delete] buttons.
      • /eca npc tp <ID> — Teleports the admin directly to the specified Shop NPC.
