ITEMTOOLS
[3.0] - Major Update
⚠️ Important
- This is a major update. Before updating, we strongly recommend backing up your world/server, especially your ITEMTOOLS configuration files.
- Starting with this version, configuration files will be migrated from JSON to TOML. No major issues are expected during migration, but keeping a backup is recommended.
✨ Added
- Added FTB Ranks (Mod) permission support for Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge/Fabric 1.21.1.
- Added LuckPerms (Mod) permission support for NeoForge and Fabric 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3.
- Added a new Item Search system, allowing players to search by item name instead of only by ID, with item icons displayed in autocomplete suggestions.
- Added predefined icons for the three Vanilla Minecraft dimensions, while modded and custom dimensions use a generic cobblestone icon.
🎨 Changed
- Completely revamped the mod's GUIs, featuring more intuitive navigation, redesigned pages for each feature, new titles and subtitles, and a cleaner, more organized appearance.
- Redesigned the Recipe Editor to display the original crafting recipe in the 3×3 grid when first opened, automatically showing the custom recipe once applied.
- Updated item status tooltips with cleaner, less intrusive status labels.
- Redesigned footer notifications with cleaner confirmation and error messages that automatically disappear after a few seconds.
- Reworked the TOML configuration files with a more user-friendly structure and improved organization for easier manual editing.
- Updated permission system compatibility across supported versions:
- Forge 1.20.1 / NeoForge & Fabric 1.21.1: FTB Ranks (Mod) support. LuckPerms (Mod) is not supported due to compatibility issues caused by outdated versions. LuckPerms (Plugin) remains supported through hybrid servers where applicable.
- NeoForge & Fabric 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3: LuckPerms (Mod) support. LuckPerms (Plugin) support has been removed.
⚡ Improved
- Improved command permission handling. Commands are now hidden from suggestions and unavailable to players without the required permissions or Minecraft OP privileges.
- Optimized internal logic and processes for better performance and stability.
- Improved overall GUI consistency, navigation, and usability.
- Applied various additional minor improvements and adjustments.
