Item Upgrader: Balanced Edition is a custom fork/tweak of the original Upgrader mod by execheinz, designed to deliver a high-stakes, risk-versus-reward upgrade mechanic without game-breaking exploits.

What is this mod?

This mod introduces the interactive Upgrader station where players can risk their items for a chance to win upgraded gear and rare rewards through a spinning probability wheel.

Key Modification: Randomized Progression

In the original mod, players could freely open the item catalog and pick specific overpowered end-game items for an extremely low cost (such as 24 value points).

In this modified edition:

• Item Catalog Picker Disabled: The ability to manually browse and select specific target items from the full registry catalog has been permanently removed.

• Pure Risk & Reward: Target outcomes now rely strictly on randomized odds and preset values, preventing players from exploiting low-tier item values to instantly obtain broken gear.

• Balanced Progression: Keeps your survival server or modpack economy healthy and fair while preserving the thrill of the upgrade wheel.
