Item Scribe enables you to take your items to the next level.

* Note - this mod is a fork of "Scribe: Write Your Item's Lore" by bushtaill, made for Neoforge 1.21.1. This work is not affiliated with them in any manner, and was simply used as inspiration.

To Use:
Hide Enchantments + Tooltips: Use a Glass Block with your item in an Anvil
Add a Tooltip: Use a Book and Quill with your item in an Anvil
Colors: For Tooltips and Titles, use an ampersand (&) directly followed by your code. Example below.

Currently usable codes:
0-9: Various Colors
a-e: Various Colors
Kk: "Gibberish" Text
Ll: Bold Text
Mm: Strikethrough Text
Nn: Underline Text
Oo: Italic Text
Rr: "Reset" Text

Examples:

4 = Red
"&4Netherite Sword" => Netherite Sword

"&4&lNetherite&r &1&oSword"=> Netherite Sword
(&r does a reset, meaning you can reapply color codes to change formatting.)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Q: Can you backport/forward port to x.x.x / Fabric / Forge?

A: No. This mod was primarily made for my specific use case, and unless need arises, will remain on Neoforge 1.21.1. If I do decide to ever rework on this mod, then versions will be at an at-will basis. Feel free to use it and take it apart to build on different versions, though.

Q: Can I use this mod for my modpacks?

A: Yep! In Curseforge, just make sure your modpack links back to this page (in mod list). You may not use this mod in any content that requires people to pay. If you end up making your own version/editing this mod, credit is nice, but not required.

Q: Is this mod incompatible with x?

A: For every non tooltip altering mod, yes! For tooltip mods, I'd be weary. Any known incompatibilities should be posted so I can fix them, but this mod should work with most mods.

Soft Incompatibilities:
Simply Tooltips: Some items don't support color coding.
