Shift + right-click an item frame with glass to make it invisible, or with a feather to lock it so it can't be rotated, emptied or broken. Press I to highlight invisible frames. Works on servers; vanilla clients can join.
Item Frame Tweaks
Simple, vanilla-friendly tweaks for item frames and glow item frames. No new items, no recipes. Just use what you already have.
Invisible frames
Shift + right-click a frame with glass or a glass pane (any color, tinted too) to toggle it invisible or visible.
Without Shift, the glass goes into the frame as usual.
Locked frames
Shift + right-click a frame with a feather to lock or unlock it.
A locked frame can't be broken (not even in Creative), rotated or emptied, and it won't drop if the wall behind it is removed.
Without Shift, the feather goes into the frame as usual.
Show invisible frames
Press I (rebindable in Controls) to highlight all invisible frames within 64 blocks with a cyan outline, so you never lose them again.
